We are currently registering individuals, either veterans or prior military service of the United States Military to attend this introductory program.  There will be 2 sessions: one in morning at 10 for three hours and one in the afternoon at 2:00 for three hours.

Long Shadows is an equine sanctuary and training center focused on rescuing horse at risk of neglect, abuse or slaughter. The horses are cared for and given a home for life. In turn, the horses participate in a variety of programs for veterans, teens, children and anyone needing the therapeutic benefit and solace of horses.

What is Equine Gestalt?

The Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® is a type of coaching that helps clients bring to their awareness emotional blockages and unfinished business that may be holding them back in their lives. The personal work the Equine Gestalt Coaches guide their clients through is “in the moment”, deeply tied to somatics (body responses) and experiential in nature.

EGCM is not psychotherapy and is effective whether or not a client is in therapy.

What to expect:

The group will consist of no more than eight people per session. It is a safe, confidential setting. You do not need horse experience. The program is three hours long including a group circle where you are sitting so do not expect to stand or walk for three hours.

There is no charge for the program.
